How do I download apps? It's asking for an Apple ID.

If you have a Stony Brook issued phone, look for an app called Self Service. You can download many of the work applications you need from there without an Apple ID.

All other applications must be downloaded from the app store. You will need to create an Apple ID if you don't already have one.

How do I make an Apple ID?

On your phone, go to Settings and tap where it says "Sign in to your iPhone"
Note: If you see a name, that means you already have an Apple ID
Next, select "Don't have an Apple ID" -> "Create Apple ID" and answer the prompts. You do not need to enter any credit card information.

How do I sync my data to iCloud? How do I check if it worked?
